We are a non-profit parent and teen support program. We believe that by taking ACTION and learning new methods of parenting, our families can improve. WE OFFER HOPE. WE CARE. Each group is led by a counselor who has been trained as an ACTION Facilitator. YOU ARE NOT ALONE. Remember... We cannot cure all your problems in one meeting. ACTION takes a commitment of regular attendance.
DISCLAIMER Any advice given is the opinion of the individual offering it. We do not recommend using anger, hostility, or violence when dealing with family members. We do not condone verbal and/or physical abuse. When we learn of such conduct, it will be confronted and reported to the authorities. We do not kick teens out of the home. If they are under 18 years of age, we work on behavior and consequences. If the teen does not respond or is in danger of harming himself/herself or others, the parents will suggest alternatives.
